The PowerTech 4.5L cylinder heads, up to Tier 1, are offered in a complete configuration.  All cylinder heads are remanufactured to OEM factory specifications, using OEM John Deere parts.  The cylinder head is cleaned and NDT inspected (magnafluxed) for cracks / indications.  The freeze plugs, valve seals, and valve spring locks are replaced.  The valve guides, intake valves, exhaust valves, and valve seats are machined to new OEM specifications, or replaced with new.  The valve springs are tested to meet OEM specifications, or replaced.  The cylinder head is resurfaced and the valve seats are vacuum tested.

THIS CYLINDER HEAD HAS A $300.00 REFUNDABLE CORE CHARGE THAT WILL BE PAID PRIOR TO SHIPMENT OF THE REMANUFACTURED CYLINDER HEAD.  UPON RECEIPT OF THE ACCEPTABLE CORE, THE CORE CHARGE WILL BE CREDITED BACK TO YOUR ACCOUNT.   THE CORE CHARGE MAY BE WAIVED IF THE CORE IS RECEIVED PRIOR TO PROCESSING THE ORDER. THE 4.5L CYLINDER HEAD CORE MUST HAVE NO MISSING PARTS, VISIBLE HOLES OR CRACKS.  IF THERE ARE MISSING PARTS, VISIBLE HOLES OR CRACKS, THE CORE CREDIT WILL BE PRORATED ACCORDINGLY TO REFLECT THE COSTS OF THE MISSING AND/OR DAMAGED COMPONENTS.
