The 6068TFM75 and 6068TFM76 John Deere marine engines are offered in a complete drop-in configuration. We can remanufacture customer provided cores or we may have these in stock to exchange (which a $15,000.00 core charge would apply). Melton remanufactures these John Deere marine engines to OEM factory specifications, using genuine John Deere parts. These engines include factory overhaul kits; which include piston & liner kits, main bearings, rod bearings, seals, gaskets. Furthermore; all rubber hoses, o-rings, bearings, bushings, seals, gaskets, freeze plugs, filters, thermostat, belts, zincs, and raw water pump are replaced. The starter, alternator, turbocharger, injection pump and injectors are remanufactured, or replaced, and tested to meet factory specifications. The water pump, oil pump, oil coolers, manifolds, heat exchangers, and rocker arms are remanufactured or replaced with new. All major castings are cleaned and NDT inspected (magnafluxed) for cracks / indications. The cylinder head guides, valves, and valve seats are machined to new OEM specifications, or replaced. Each marine engine is dynamometer tested for a minimum of six (6) hours to perform break-in as well as verify performance and quality control. Paint color can be white, tan, yellow, or black; as per customer request if specified at time of order.

THE 6068T ENGINE CORE MUST HAVE NO MISSING OR NON-REPAIRABLE MAJOR COMPONENTS. IF THERE ARE MISSING OR NON-REPAIRABLE COMPONENTS, THE CUSTOMER MAY BE CHARGED ADDITIONAL FEES TO REFLECT THE COSTS OF THE MISSING AND/OR NON-REPAIRABLE COMPONENTS.

Exchange engines ship in 1-2 days. Remanufacture turn times are usually 24-28 days. Freight charges can be provided depending on your address and delivery methods. Please contact us for any questions.
