The 4045T John Deere long blocks are offered in a standard long block configuration, or configured to your desired specification. Melton remanufactures these John Deere long blocks to OEM factory specifications. These long blocks include overhaul kits; which include piston & liner kits, main bearings, rod bearings, seals, gaskets. Furthermore; the cam bearings and freeze plugs are replaced. The oil pump and rocker arms are remanufactured or replaced. All major castings are cleaned and NDT inspected (magnafluxed) for cracks / indications. The cylinder head guides, valves, and valve seats are machined to new OEM specifications, or replaced.
ALL 4.5L JOHN DEERE LONG BLOCKS WITH 2-VALVE CYLINDER HEADS WOULD HAVE AN ADDITIONAL $2,500 CORE CHARGE, WHICH MUST BE PAID AT TIME OF ORDER. FULL CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN IF THE LONG BLOCK IS RETURNED ASSEMBLED COMPLETE WITH NO CATASTROPHIC DAMAGE, ON THE SAME ENGINE STAND SENT WITH REPLACEMENT LONG BLOCK, AND ALL FLUIDS DRAINED. THE CORE LONG BLOCK MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING REPLACEMENT LONG BLOCK. IF THE CORE DOES NOT MEET THESE CONDITIONS, THEN DEDUCTIONS FROM THE CORE CREDIT MAY APPLY.
